Discipleship Resources

The church has officially left the building. Our Governor, Bill Lee, and the CDC have asked that we limit our travel and physical proximity by “social distancing,” at least  until the end of May! The Coronavirus is real and it is lethal.  By now, virtually everyone knows what they should NOT be doing in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19!  We may not be as clear, however, about what we can (and should) be  doing today and beyond.

Let’s start here: focus on the Good News! While we are  limited in our ability to share the love

of God and His Gospel within arm’s reach, we can still do so—perhaps even face-to-face (if only screen-to-screen!) We can even do so freely, lavishly, daily, and relationally!

Check back often, we hope to continue adding Discipleship Resources for you and your family.

  • Bless every home (click Here)

    It's free and confidential.

Blesseveryhome.com gives you the tools to become a Light for Christ in your neighborhood. Join an ever-growing community of Christ followers who are devoted to being a Light in their neighborhoods through praying for, caring for, sharing the gospel with, and discipling their neighbors.

We provide all the tools to get to know your neighbors by name so that you can begin to build relationships with them. Use your dashboard to track your individual progress with each neighbor. You will even receive optional daily reminder emails with a prayer prompt and 5 neighbors to pray for that day.

  • Family Devotions(Click here)Family_Devotion_Holiness_of_God.pdf

Family devotions is one of those things we ought to be doing, but in many cases, we neglect. The abundance of programs offered by the local church can sometimes make us lazy when it comes to spiritual discipline, and particularly in discipling our kids. But whether you choose to use this resource or others you are more familiar with, let's not let our spiritual "muscle" atrophy during this time of uncertainty. This program is suitable for middle school on up. I'd recommend the leader review the material himself privately before presenting it to ensure it’s appropriate for the audience.

  • Family Crisis Response Guide (click here) /family-crisis-response-guide

These are trying times! Children are experiencing all of the same emotions that we, as adults, are experiencing. They may not, however, be able to articulate, process or navigate them. If we’re being honest, there have been times already in these days and weeks where we have struggled to handle our emotions and feelings well. Such is the nature of trying times and uncharted waters. This booklet is meant to provide your family with strategies, activities and resources. We have compiled them prayerfully and thoughtfully. It is our hope that they will be of great assistance to you as you navigate this crisis over the coming weeks.
