Pastor Patrick serves as our Lead & Teaching Pastor. He was called to FBCJ in March of 2024. Previous to his time at FBCJ,  Pastor Patrick served as Associate Pastor of Families at Ridgeview Baptist Church, Church Hill, TN for 4 & 1/2 years. Before Ridgeview, he served FBC Rogersville, TN and FBC Hartsville, SC as Minster to Youth and Children for three years and two years respectively. Patrick earned a B.A. (English/Philosophy) and the Secondary Education Certificate from East Tennessee State University. He completed a Master of Arts in 2023 from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Patrick met his wife Jennifer at ETSU while serving together at the ETSU Baptist Collegiate Ministry. Patrick and Jennifer are the proud parents of four children, a group only God could assemble through adoption and biological birth: Amos (14), Anna (14), Colt (10) and Elli (7). 

Bill serves as our Discipleship & Connections Pastor. He and his wife Cheryl love this community, the people of FBCJ, and watching God change lives through the practical teaching of His Word. In large groups, small groups, and through one on one relationships Bill’s passion is discipleship. “Helping people learn how to live their lives as Jesus would live their lives if He were they.” Bill and Cheryl have been married for over 30 years which includes 9 years serving in southernmost Brazil as missionaries. They have two sons, Matthew and Patrick, and 7 grandchildren. Bill loves the outdoors, woodworking, mosaics, and spending time with the great people who make up our community.

Cody Boshears, with his wife Allison, lead FBCJStudents. Cody is passionate about the Word of God and longs to see the students interacting with Scripture in their day-to-day lives. Cody teaches English at Campbell County High School, providing him a unique perspective on the challenges young people face and a leg-up in connecting with students where they are. If your students are a part of FBCJ Youth, they will be engaged with intentional discipleship as it is a focus for Cody and Allison every Wednesday.

Carolyn Daugherty has been part of FBCJ her whole life.  She grew up in this church and now is the director of  KiDS LiFE.  She and her husband, John, have served in numerous ways here at FBCJ.  Carolyn is passionate about the kids having fun and learning about the God we serve.  Every Sunday Carolyn is with the kids during worship overseeing Kids Church. The kids love seeing "Mrs. Carolyn" and she loves them too!  You can rest assured that the children of FBCJ and her guests will be loved, treasured, protected and nurtured by Mrs. Carolyn and her team, while learning the word of God from "Bible Studies for Life Kid's" from Lifeway.
