To know and love God intimately and make Him known in Campbell County and to the ends of the earth is a BIG mission. Big mission requires BIG vision. Our vision for seeing our PURPOSE fulfilled and our MISSION engaged is by worshipping, walking, working and witnessing.

You'll notice that the word "together" is found in each part of our vision. At FBCJ, we believe that great things happen when we're together!

  • Worship involves both personal, daily encounters with Christ and the gathering together in the Holy Spirit of the people of God weekly. All worship is informed by, infused with, constrained by, and focused through God's inerrant and inspired Word.

  • Our Christian WALK is a life-long process of spiritual growth and maturity in community with believers and non-believers. Walking together faithfully weaves in our love for discipleship, in Sunday School groups and in life groups meeting throughout the week.

  • Equipped by God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and commanded by Christ, together we will seek to enlarge and serve the Kingdom of God. We strive to see "...divine resources, meet human needs, through loving channels, to the Glory of God."

  • We will be witnesses together and individual evangelists of the Good News of the Gospel onto discipleship, across the street, across the country and among the Nations! Reaching others with the Gospel is both a responsibility and a joy. We give and we "go" so that others may know.
